SHOTTS Industrial Park has got its second tenant — gas and engineering company BOC .
Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers and BOC yesterday announced the signing of a $1 billion deal to supply the planned urea plant with nitrogen and oxygen for 20 years.
As a result, BOC will sublease a portion of Shotts from Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers, for two air separation plants.
The agreement follows 10 months of negotiations between the two companies.
BOC, part of the Linde Group, is offering Perdaman’s Collie urea project an additional five-year option for gas supply.
