COMMENT is being sought from Collie people about the proposed new vision for Wilson Park.

The South West Development Commission and Collie Shire Council have released a report that recommends road network and streetscape changes.

Also identified in the report is the need for pockets of increased urban density and residential expansion to encourage strong community identity in the area.

“Following consideration of public comments, the Shire of Collie will consider adopting the report as a framework for future action in Wilson Park, and then seek to identify funding,” he said.

The report is on the council’s website or available during opening hours at the shire office and library.

Comments should be made in writing and can be sent via email to colshire@collie.wa.gov.au or be posted or delivered to 87 Throssell Street, Collie WA 6225. Inquiries should be go to the council on 9734 9000. Comments should be in by Monday, March 22.
