COLLIE-PRESTON MLA Mick Murray will seek to introduce a private member's bill to make potting mix manufacturers attach disposable masks to their packs.
It follows the death of 42-year-old Collie woman Sharon Camisa, who died in January after contracting a strain of Legionnaire's Disease.
Mr Murray told Fairfax Radio he wanted to see a satchel attached to the side of potting mix bags that contained a protective mask.
"The masks are very cheap to buy," he said.
"Having it attached to the bag would put it very close and people would use it straight away.
Mr Murray said he had some personal experience of the devastating effects of Legionnaires Disease after his wife contracted the disease after a trip to China.
