TEN people were arrested during a series of raids targeting amphetamines in Collie.
Senior Sergeant Mike Dean said a 25-strong team of police from Australind, Pemberton, Harvey, Waroona, Bridgetown and Bunbury and a dog squad from Perth led by South West District Superintendent Peter Hatch executed the search warrants on Friday night.
Homes in Benwell Place, Wittenoom Street, Evans Street and Carma Avenue were searched by police targeting amphetamine possession and supply.
The men and women arrested ranged in age from 18 to 44, with charges laid including possession of amphetamines, cannabis, drug paraphernalia and unlawful property.
One person was charged with intent to supply.
Snr Sgt Dean said the raids were part of an ongoing operation.
“Amphetamines are very unwelcome in Collie,” he said.
“You can expect a visit from police if you are using or dealing.”
