Food lovers are in for a treat next month, with 10 of Perth's top chefs working their magic on prized WA produce for the inaugural Taste of Perth.
Part of the City of Perth's Eat Drink Perth festival, representatives from the hottest local nosheries will descend on Langley Park, delivering signature dishes and premium tipple.
Dominik Moldenhauer from The Greenhouse said he has worked up a menu guaranteed to tantalise the tastebuds.
"I've got beautiful black belly beef cheek braised in Malbec wine from Margaret River," he said.
"Then we'll do a nice vegetarian dish and a paperbark smoked barramundi with sauerkraut. There is some really good produce here in WA and the native bush foods are really interesting. "
The Berlin-raised chef said he's also keen to check out what some of the other restaurants will have on offer.
"I've been to a fair few of the other restaurants but it's going to be great to see the other chefs there and see them in action," he said.
As well as The Greenhouse, Taste of Perth will feature culinary delights from Bistro Guillaume, Lalla Rookh, Nobu, El Publico, Print Hall and Silks - a degustation dream for local foodies.
Those who prefer a more hands-on experience can mingle with the chefs at cooking demonstrations and master classes.
"I'll be doing one of the demonstrations, presenting our signature dish, a duck liver parfait with homemade sour dough, cultured butter and quandong jam," Mr Moldenhauer said.
"Quandong is native, sort of like a berry, and it's kind of sweet, sour and tart."
Taste of Perth will run from 2nd to 4th May at Langley Park. Tickets are available through the event website
