THE combination of Terry Uren and Vicki Daniel, with 4 points and plus 19, won in a good rollup of meat pack players last Wednesday at the bowling club.
In second place and just one point behind were were Ray Colgan and Kelly Flynn with 3 points, plus 18.
Women’s indoor bowls played triples on Tuesday, July 31, and in a good game of bowls the triples ended in a draw. Card winners were Daphne Cosgrove, Dot Brody and Estelle Johnsen.
Thursday’s game was a fours with the winners being Kerry Scott, Margaret Young, Margaret Gesue and Dot Brody. Cards were then played, after lunch, and the winners were June Henderson, Nora Keen, Doris Walker and Margaret Gesue.
A good crowd turned up for Sunday scroungers in cool and sunny weather. The rink winners were Kath Cluning, Gil Fisher, Terry Uren and Danny Smythe.
The final was won by Gil Fisher from Danny Smythe. In third spot was Terry Uren and fourth Kath Cluning.
The highest scores were Danny Smythe, Kath Cluning and Terry Uren on 37.
