ROD Garner and John Bell won the Pine Hauliers Mixed Meat Pack on Wednesday, July 16.The pair finished with a score of four and nine while Jim Parker and Phil Warburton finished as runners-up with four and seven.Garner also enjoyed success in the McCafe winter mixed scroungers event on Sunday.Garner finished first in front of Max Cubic and Sue Ginbey who finished second and third respectively.Vicki Daniel bagged the highest score with 36 while George Saggers took home the consolation chocolate.The next winter scroungers game will be held on Sunday July 27.In the ladies, Estelle Johnsen and Judy Saunders claimed a win in the social scroungers on Thursday, July 17.Card winners were Yvonne Borlini, Nora Keen and Johnsen while Doris Walker and Marg Gesue were card winners on Tuesday, July 15.
