LOCAL Collie boy and Collie Eagles footballer Liam Kin sella enjoyed success at the Landmark Country Football Championships on July 12.
Kinsella was one of six South West colts players selected in the CBH Colts All-Star team for his performances at the carnival.
"The first game was probably my best," Kinsella said.
"I got to run off and find a bit of the ball."
Kinsella has been playing regular league level football for Collie this year and said the transition from colts was made easier by the support around him.
"Having older guys like Matt Blackford and Corey Griggs helping you makes the change a little easier," he said.
However, Kinsella isn't satisfied with his season so far and is still looking to give a little more for the team.
"I've probably been a little patchy so far with some good and bad performances so I'm looking to be a bit more consistent."
Collie is sixth on the ladder behind Carey Park, just one win outside of the top five. "I guess now it's just about getting into the top five and playing finals," Kinsella said.
"We know our best football and we think we're a chance in any game we play in."
Collie will resume their regular season this Saturday with a game against Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault at Brunswick Oval.
A win could potentially see Collie into the top five.
