The Collie Chamber of Commerce & Industry launched the 2014 Collie Business and Telephone Directory last Wednesday 23rd July.

Over 30 people heard Erik Mellegers (President of the Chamber) congratulate Chamber staff on their efforts, thank the business community for their support and in particular Synergy, who have been a Gold Sponsor to the Chamber for many years.

The Directory is being distributed by Collie Senior High School students as part of their fund raising effort for their 2015 Gallipoli Tour.

The gathering heard from students James Abbott and Kelsey Salameri, on how they were going about fundraising and how they felt that the tour would make a difference to their lives.

Erik Mellegers encouraged the business community to support this and other initiatives including the upcoming Pedal Prix event, where the Chamber is supporting the School by providing two human powered vehicles (and a support network of business community leaders) in the first race of its kind in Western Australia.

The Directory is going to be delivered over the next couple of weeks and for those who want extra copies they can be collected from the Collie Chamber office (13 Forrest St) or Reuben's newsagency, Mick Murray's office, The Collie Shire etc.
