NEW owner Susan Bal lingall and her awesome team of girls Rebecca Chapman, Franklyn Sim monds, Leonie Mo rey and Shenae Magill - have re-opened what used to be Studio Lain as a walk-in barber's shop with no appointments necessary.
Barbers Barbers opens 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday.
Coming back to 26 Steere Street is like returning home for Rebecca, Franklyn, Leonie and Susan, who have all worked there at some stage in the last 20 years, with Susan previously owning the salon for nearly 10 years when it was known as Culture Cut and Rebecca and Franklyn both starting their apprenticeships there as well.
Leonie also previously worked in the salon for many years and Shenae had her very first colour with Susan there when she was just a youngster who dreamed of being a hairdresser (or a superstar singer).
Susan who also owns Shear Salon saw the need for a walk-in hairdressers after they continually had to turn clients away and had a waiting time of often more than a week until the next available appointment.
This wonderful group of girls are all highly skilled hairdressers with more than 70 years of combined hairdressing experience, so for a great haircut in a warm and friendly atmosphere see the girls at Barbers Barbers, Steere Street.
