COLLIE police wish to thank the public for helping to identify an alleged thief.
The woman is alleged to have stolen a wallet from the Premier Hotel several weeks ago.
"Thanks to the huge response from the public, including dozens of calls, we have been able to identify the female and we are currently trying to locate her whereabouts," Senior Sergeant Mike Dean said.
The woman is believed to be from Bunbury.
Her face went viral after the Collie Mail posted a picture of her caught on a hotel camera.
