A nursery delivery truck has become the latest victim of the Bayswater subway bridge after it became wedged around 11.30am on Wednesday.
Traffic came to a standstill as the truck attempted to emerge from the subway and head south along King William Street before becoming stuck.
The wreckage was cleared just after noon.
A staff member at Benara Nursery confirmed the delivery truck belonged to the business.
He said no witnesses were available to comment at present.
“They are just having a meeting at the moment, working out what to do about it,” he said.
Police spokesperson Susan Usher said the driver suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The bridge has proved disastrous for truck drivers, with many getting stuck recently.
