BIANCA Ashcroft's seven-year-old gelding Whatashambles was successful in a sprint race at Pinjarra on Monday for reinsman Kyle Harper. Coming from well back at the bell, four back in the running line, he chased down the leaders who ran the last 800 metres in 57.6 seconds. This gave him a mile rate for the 1684 metre journey of 1.57.9.Whatshambles was great value at $22.80 and $5 and has been a model of consistency in recent weeks.It was the only country meeting last weekend.Country harness racing continues this weekend with meetings in Bunbury on Saturday, Kellerberrin on Sunday and Pinjarra on Monday. This follows a metro penalty meeting at Gloucester Park tomorrow when David Hunter has Christian Banner engaged.The Kalgoorlie season starts next Friday and there will be regular meetings during the next two months.
