Police in Esperance netted a drug haul on Wednesday morning after a pulling over a driver for alleged hooning.
About 9.30am police patrolling on the South Coast Highway, five kilometres north of Pink Lake, spotted a Hyundai i20 allegedly doing 169km/h in a 110km/h area.
After pulling the driver over, police say they uncovered 18 grams of cannabis, 12 grams of MDMA pills, 12 grams of amphetamines, a baseball bat, a laser and cash.
The driver, a 28-year-old Clarkson man, hs been hit with a raft of traffic, drug and weapons charged and will appear in Esperance Magistrates Court on September 16.
His car has been impounded for 28 days.
