As the attacks on the Muslim community increase, the Islamic Council of WA say the Barnett government has gone to ground.
At the weekend, two Perth mosques and the Australian Islamic College in Thornlie were targeted with anti-Islamic slogans.
The ABC reported the words "ban Muslims" were spray painted on the school and beer bottles were hurled at a mosque.
Islamic Council of WA spokesperson Abdullah Eshtewi said his group met with the Premier Colin Barnett two weeks ago, but that was it.
"There has been some emotional support, but nothing practical," he told Fairfax Media.
"Unfortunately the federal and state governments haven't done much."
Mr Eshtewi said the council was planning to write to the police and the Premier over the recent attacks on the mosques and school.
He said the Muslim community was getting targeted more and more.
It comes after the council told Fairfax Media last month, it was setting up a hotline for its members in Western Australia, concerned Muslims will be targeted after vandals damaged a mosque in Sydney.
"It's disappointing its increasing and we have seen a lot of activity over the weekend and I don't know if it's related to the rally on Saturday," Mr Eshtewi said.
"We have been trying to encourage everyone to report the incidents, but they might be reluctant to report them."
Mr Eshtewi said his own family was living in fear.
"My wife is pretty cautious about where she goes and what she does," he said.
"It's not an enjoyable feeling to feel threatened in your own home."
Muslim sheikh Burhaan Mehtar told the ABC the religious attacks were growing.
"Perhaps it's better to ignore this minority group that are terrorising Australian Muslims, but there is a limit to what people can actually digest and they do become fearful at what happened," he said.
"These types of things breed fear in the hearts of the innocent ladies and children, especially who want to perhaps ride around the worship centre or come by bike to the mosque.
"You do feel a bit stressed, anything can happen."
Mr Mehtar said the Southern River Islamic mosque will swing open its doors on Saturday for the general public.
"If there is something troubling you or on your mind and you feel that Muslims are such and such, come and ask, come and meet us.
"We hope that it's going to be one of the ways of creating harmony and a balance in society."
