2007: The Chaser stunt, APEC Leaders Summit, Sydney: Stunt performed by satirical group The Chaser in which fake Canadian motorcade allowed through restricted zone by police and not detected until Chas Licciardello alighted dressed as Osama bin Laden.
2009: Protests, G20, London: 35,000 demonstrators moved past the capital's landmarks in a peaceful protest. Police apologised to relatives of a man who was hit with a baton and shoved by a riot policeman and later collapsed and died.
2010: Protests, Toronto summit, G20 2010: Protesters using "black bloc" tactics, consisting of clothing to conceal identity, caused vandalism to businesses ahead of summit. More than 20,000 police, military and security personnel were involved in policing 10,000 protesters.
