A total fire ban has been declared for parts of the Midwest Gascoyne region for Tuesday.
This ban encompasses Greater Geraldton, the Chapman Valley, Mingenew, Morawa amd Northampton.
If a "Harvest and Vehicle Movement Ban"has not been implemented by local government, restrictions do not apply to harvesting or vehicle movements across paddocks for agricultural purposes.
Penalties for ignoring the ban incude fines of up to $25,000 and up to 12 months' jail.
