PEEL Thunder youngsters Dylan Winton and Brad Walsh have the regions best chances of being selected in the national draft on the Gold Coast tomorrow.
Winton is a 192-centimetre running defender who can also play tall.
He impressed at the state draft combine in the agility test and sees himself as a tall defender who can also run off the back flank.
Walsh is an inside midfielder who is a fierce competitor and always tries to get the best out of his game.
Both players already have WAFL experience and were part of the Western Australian under 18s side.
Walsh was the captain of the side while Winton was also part of the leadership group.
Winton is more likely to be picked up in the national draft, while Walsh is a good chance at going in the rookie draft.
Another Mandurah local Shane Yarran could also get picked up.
Yarran played with Subiaco this year, kicking 39 goals and was part of the premiership-winning team.
Last year Yarran played for South Mandurah in the Peel Football League before moving to Subiaco.
The 25-year-old was invited to the WA draft combine along with Walsh and Winton.
Benjamin Hancock is another prospect, but seems the furthest from being picked up.
The Thunder backman played in the under 18s team with Winton and Walsh but was not invited to the state or national combine.
Hancock is an 18-year-old back flanker who played for Warnbro Junior Football Club.
He played nine games for the Thunder in the league side and collected 110 disposals.
