Police have released images of a man they want to speak with about an alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl at a Cannington movie theatre in December.
The 14-year-old girl was sitting in the Albany Highway cinema when the man, not known to her, sat a few seats away, leant towards her and started a conversation, WA Police media's Acting Sergeant Barb Crane said.
After trying to speak with the girl, the man allegedly grabbed her and indecently assaulted her then left the theatre before the movie ended, she said.
The man Kensington detectives want to speak with is in his early 50s, fair skinned, of solid build, about 170 centimetres and has short black hair.
At the time he was wearing khaki or tan-coloured pants, a black short-sleeved polo shirt, large sunglasses and was carrying a black and grey backpack.
