COLLIE Police warn the public to be vigilant in the wake of the theft of a tradesman's vehicle and trailer.
This week they found the trailer, stolen on December 7, at a nearby pine plantation with its contents stolen.
Workers were clearing the land when they noticed the custom trailer and contacted the authorities.
The man's Toyota Landcruiser is still missing.
Owner Brendan Earl was devastated to lose all the equipment he uses for his business Calybre Plumbing and Gas Fittings.
"I can't work, all my tools are gone," Mr Earl said.
"I've collected tools over the years; it will be difficult to build the collection back up."
The utility and trailer were taken while parked outside the McKinley Street address of Brendan's grandmother.
"I was having a few wines with Nan and decided to do the responsible thing and get my girlfriend to pick me up," Mr Earl said.
"When I came back in the morning it was gone. Someone has taken my livelihood.
"I just want to go back to work."
Senior Sergeant Mike Dean was disappointed such a crime was committed against a hard-working young man.
"It's outrageous that this could happen to a young business owner," he said.
"It's one of the lowest crimes you could commit. We are extremely interest in talking to anyone who has any information."
Some of the unique equipment includes a Dewalt combo kit which had a cordless grinder and drill, belt sander, copper expanders, a Jobplex maxi tool set which included a crimper and an electro-fusion welder, Engel generator and 50-litre fridge.
Anyone who has any information should contact the Collie Police.
