Cootamundra couple Peter and Sandra Black loved Sunday rides on their Suzuki Boulevard.
But, tragically, it was on one of those rides last Sunday morning that they were killed in a collision with a utility on Muttama Road near Coolac.
As police continue to investigate the crash, family and friends of 52-year-old Peter and 47-year-old Sandra paid tribute to their loved ones as they tried to come to grips with their shock loss.
Peter was employed as a bulldozer driver and Sandra (nee Burns) worked for Cootamundra Oilseeds.
Celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary only days ago on January 16, Peter and Sandra Black had three children -Joshua, Jaykeb and Mihkyla.
The couple shared a passion for motorcycle riding.
"They were doing something that they both loved so much, and will never be forgotten," Mihkyla said.
The family recalled that Sandra introduced Peter to her mother Shirley with the words: "I want you to meet my new boyfriend, he's a bikie".
"They both loved the freedom of the bike, watching the countryside go by on a sunny Sunday with the thump of the big bike in the background," said family friends Leanne and Jono Liles.
"We will always remember the good conversations we had over a counter lunch."
Mihkyla said she felt privileged to call Peter and Sandra her parents.
"They gave up everything for me and my brothers," she said.
"They both had hearts of gold and would drop anything to help anyone at anytime.
"The next time you hear thunder it will be two beautiful angels riding the Boulevard through the clouds."
Jaykeb said he had lost the two people he loved most in the world.
"Rest in peace, mum and dad," he said.
Joshua said his parents were always there for their three children and always helping them in any way possible.
"Both meant everything to me and I will love them with all my heart forever," Joshua said.
Sandra's sister Debbie and her husband Paul said Peter and Sandra would be in their hearts forever.
They promised to look after their children.
Peter was the son of Beverly Black and the late Barry Black and the brother of Paul, Julie, Lorraine and Leslie Black.
Sandra was the daughter of Shirley, the step-daughter of Colin and the sister of Debbie and Robert (deceased).
