A CANADIAN tourist was so disgusted by a hoon driver near Karridale last week that he has offered a $1000 reward to capture them.
Robbie Preston was sleeping in his car in an unmarked car park about five kilometres north of Karridale when a station wagon raced in and drifted extremely close by.
“He was three to six inches from my car,” Mr Preston said.
“Gravel shot out and I was afraid the glass was going to break on the side window.”
Mr Preston said he couldn’t see for all the dust but he managed to snap a photo of the car, which he plans to hand in to police.
They need their drivers’ licence removed so they can never drive again, because this person will kill someone very soon.

He believed the car was a mid blue, four-door station wagon.
“This is about the third or fourth time,” he told the Mail on Friday.
“They need their drivers’ licence removed so they can never drive again, because this person will kill someone very soon.”
Mr Preston said the hoon driving was seriously off-putting for visitors.
“I’m a tourist here – this will be a highlight of my presentation to people at home about how bad things are in Australia,” he said.
Anyone with information on hoon drivers should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
