Jebb Swallow played a great round of golf, amassing 44 points in the 18 hole stableford event held last Saturday, sponsored by Barry Creighton's Blue Dolphin Caravan Park in Shark's Bay.
Swallow is one of a number of younger members who have continued to impress in recent months.
In the runner up position was another young gun in Ben McCormick with the good score of 38 points.
Veteran, Trevor Graham, with 37 points took third place on a count back from six other players on that score.
In count back order, these players were Colin Naysmith, Phil Warburton, Matthew Blechynden, Denis Cocker, Alan Kent and Michael Wallace.
Finishing with 36 points apiece were Rod Simmonds, Daniel Foster, Clive Pullan and Frank Battista, followed, on 35 points each by Paul Moyses, John Colombera, Warren Hann and Jim Moyses.
In a three way count back in the ladies stableford, Shelley Barker – May won the day from Dot Lawrence and Lynn Simmonds.
All three ladies returned a score of 34 points.

Last Tuesday's leisure day competition resulted in a win to Boyup Brook's Greg Hales, on a count back from club president, Steven Ireland.
Both players finished with the fine score of 40 stableford points.
A quartet of players returned a score of 38 points, with George Davis taking third place, on a count back from Chris Shannon, John Williamson and Jim Hine.
John Kenna and Trevor Graham played well for 37 points apiece, while paying to their handicaps, with 36 points each were Peter Coombs, Jay Robinson, Dan Foster, Jebb Swallow, Joe Italiano and David Henderson.
Denis Cocker, with 37 points, was the best vet score.
Novelties were won by Greg Bell (4), Paul Moyses (7), Denis Cocker (9), Wayne Waywood (14) and Peter Coombs (18).
Last Thursday's best scrounger was Eric Annandale with 23 points.
On a count back, Terry Reeves was runner up, from Ashley Seeber, Bruce Jackson and Ian Shannon. All these players scored 21 points.
Rounding out the vouchers, with 20 points apiece were Ross Davidson and Jay Robinson.
Novelties went to Tony Barker-May (4), Ed Riley (6) and Jim Tyler (9).
This week's event will be an 18 hole stableford, sponsored by Fitzgeralds Jewellers.
