Three men smash their way into Challenge Stadium

Police were called to the Stephenson Avenue stadium just after 10pm after alarms were triggered.

Police allege when they arrived they spotted three men with their faces covered, who fled on foot and ran into nearby bushland, with a number of stolen items.

Police nabbed one man, while the other two evaded police.

A 29-year-old Koongamia man has been charged with three counts of aggravated burglary and stealing and was due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on February 2.
