A 26-year-old Wellard man has been charged by police after they found a rifle, weapons, drugs and cash in his car in Hope Valley on Saturday night.
Just after 9pm, police located an Isuzu Dmax with a man and woman inside on an industrial building site on McLaren Avenue.
Police searched the car and it is alleged they found a Stirling .22 rifle, pepper spray, two hunting knifes, a sum of cash and about 12gm of a white crystal believed to be methamphetamine.
Police then searched the 26-year-old man's Wellard home and found about 15gm of cannabis and 13gm of white crystals.
The man has been charged with a string of offences, including two counts of breaching bail and possession of an unlicensed firearm with drugs and cash.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today on March 1.
