Major Crime Squad Detectives have charged a 22 year old Picton man with murder over the death of 24 year old Brent Charles Hurst Barton.
Police and paramedics were called to a home in Hamilton Road in Eaton at about 9.20pm on Thursday, where they located Mr Barton with serious injuries. He later died of his wounds in hospital.
Dylan Anthony McColl was charged with Mr Barton's murder and appeared in Bunbury Magistrates Court on Saturday where he was remanded in custody.

Major Crime detectives and a police forensics team have arrived on the scene of a suspicious death of a man in Eaton.
Paramedics were called to a home in Eaton on Thursday night where they discovered a 24-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
The man later died from his wounds in Bunbury Regional Hospital.
A Major Crime officer spoke to the media at the scene and told them they were informed of the incident in Eaton at about 11pm last night.
He said the crime scene had been contained but, it would take a couple of days before there would be any answers from the forensics investigation. Police are expected to be at the scene for between one and three hours today.
Police are now conducting door knocks in the area to speak with any witnesses to the incident. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
The Bunbury Mail understands that police have someone assisting them with inquiries in to the death.
WA Police spokesman Adam Brouwer told the media this morning that police were treating the incident as a possible homicide.
On Friday afternoon, police confirmed a 22-year-old man was assisting them with their inquiries.
