After becoming the first driver to take 100 wins in V8 Supercars, Craig Lowndes has no plans to slow down including at this weekend’s Townsville 400.
Lowndes sits second in the standings and believes the longer race format in north Queensland will suit his Triple Eight Race Engineering squad..

Currently sitting second in the championship standings, Lowndes has his eyes set on winning a long-awaited fourth title and he feels the longer race format at this weekend’s Townsville 400 should suit the Triple Eight Race Engineering squad.
On the other side of the garage Jamie Whincup has endured what has been his most challenging period in recent years. The six-time champ knows that Townsville will need to be mistake-free from all involved.
