Three Collie boys have been selected to play in the Regional Youth soccer team at an international tournament that will take place in Phuket this December.
Curtis Jorgensen, 15, Kaidyn Watt, 13, and Tashian Pierotti, 14, were selected for the team from hundreds of hopefuls at the 2015 Football West Country Camp.
The boys were initially selected to play in the Bunbury and surrounds team at country week, and were scouted for the international team from there.

“It will be cool to go to a new country and to be able to play soccer there against others my age,” he said.
Tashian Pierotti currently plays for Collie under 16 team and said he is excited to be selected for the regional youth soccer team.
“It will be great to play soccer on an international stage, I am really looking forward to it,” he said.
“We would all like to thank MCDonalds and Collie for sponsoring and supporting us along the way.”

“It will be great to try new experiences and to play against others my age,” he said.
“I would also like to say thanks to our families for being there along this experience.”
This year will be the eighth year of regional youth teams attending the tournament.
They boys families said they were proud of their achievements in being selected for the squad, and it is a testament to their hard work and training.
