Hannan shared her personal sporting experiences with the audience, and motivated the young sports people in the room to work hard and follow their dreams.
The first award presented for the night, was the Special Achievement Award, and went to Ijah Coyle for his involvement in the Collie Basketball Association in both umpiring and coaching roles.
Underwater hockey player Maggie Biffin took home the award for Young Person of the Year for her involvement in the sport on a local and national level.

Fiona Hannan was inducted into the Wall of Champions on the night, for her extensive sporting achievements.
An emotional Hannan thanked her parents for always putting her sporting pursuits first, and her former childhood basketball coach who was in the audience.
Hannan also announced that she and her family would be providing an annual award to a local volunteer who is linked to a sporting club, to thank them for being the unsung heroes of local sports and raising future sporting champions.
After unveiling an engraved plaque, she accepted a framed certificate congratulating her on her induction to the wall of champions that is placed in Roche Park Recreation Centre.
