IT'S a question that should have a fairly simple answer.
A Busselton criminal has provided the public with a Wednesday morning laugh after he was arrested overnight while allegedly in possession of a bag of amphetamines with the words "drugs are bad?" scrawled across the front.
The 19-year-old male was stopped by officers at 9.30pm on High Street near Bussell Highway after he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign.
The man, who allegedly did not have a valid license, reportedly returned a breath sample of 0.013 and was conveyed to Busselton Police Station.
Anyone found driving a car without a licence with a blood-alcohol reading higher than 0.00 are charged with committing the additional offence of drug driving.
Once the man was searched at the station, officers allegedly seized 0.024 grams of amphetamines, two MDMA tablets and drug paraphernalia.
Busselton Police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jason Van der Ende said he was happy to confirm to the man arrested that yes, drugs are certainly bad.
He said the man now has some new mantras he can write down including "driving without a licence is also bad".
The man will face Busselton Magistrates Court at a later date.
