Shire of Collie councillor Elysia Harverson has won the ballot in the Liberal Party preselection contest for the seat of Collie-Preston.
Mrs Harverson will face off against Labor candidate Mick Murray MLA at this year’s state election.
Other Liberal preselection results, over the weekend, include Zak Kirkup endorsed for the seat of Dawesville and Lawyer Ian Morison preselected to replace John Castrilli in Bunbury.
Harverson formerly served as a journalist for the Collie mail and Southland Times.
