Beekeeping Talk: Those attending the Beekeeping for Beginners talk at the West Arthur CRC last week were treated to an evening with an expert as local Collie beekeeper Graeme Wilkes shared his knowledge about the craft. Graeme and his grandson, Tyler had made a Perspex display case so the audience could get a close up look at some bees and this was fascinating for both the children and adults in the audience. Those attending ranged from some who had hives to those who just liked nature, but it can be guaranteed Darkan will be seeing a few more bee hives cultivated in the near future. Trash Test Dummies: Get your tickets now for the comedy act Trash Test Dummies which will be in Darkan at the Town Hall on June 9 at 7pm.
