Riders have competed at the State Showjumping Championships in Brigadoon on the weekend representing Collie Horse and Pony Club.
The riders have been training for weeks leading up to this event with the help of local and out of town coaches giving up their time to help prepare the riders for their big weekend.
They stuck it out, along with all parents and helpers and pushed through the horrible weather on Saturday, coming out of the arena with massive smiles on their faces after each round, no matter what the results were.
Each and every rider put in 100 per cent to each of their rides and did us proud representing our club.
Some coming home with ribbons, and others coming home with a completed course and happy rider.
Two of our riders, after trying out and being accepted for the South West Zone team, have placed with their team mates over the weekend.
Hayley Davidson received a sixth place in the 90cm class and Jessica Davidson received a third place in the 100cm class with their combined team results representing the South West.
Each rider has had an incredible experience over the weekend and all are excited for next year!
