Police are investigating the mysterious death of a 25-year-old woman found injured and unconscious on a Willetton road early on Wednesday morning.
The woman was found dying about 12.30am in the westbound lane of the Apsley Road/Brolga Promenade intersection.
"The woman was conveyed by ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital where she died as a result of her injuries," WA Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said.
It is unclear whether she was hit by a car or injured elsewhere.
She was identified on Wednesday and her next of kin notified.
