Major Crime Squad officers are continuing their investigations into the death of Collie mother of two Lorraine Jane Hansen in Willetton on 29 June 2016.
Around 12.15am, 25 year old Lorraine was located on the road way at the corner of Apsley Road and Brolga Promenade in Willetton. She was discovered by members of the public with life threatening injuries and was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where she passed away a short time later.
Major Crime Squad officers are calling witnesses who were in the Willetton area between the hours of 10.00pm and 12.45am, particularly in the Apsley Road and Karel Avenue areas, to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Anthony Thompson believes that someone may have valuable information to assist in this investigation.
“These are busy roads and we believe that a number of vehicles use the same routes in the area on a regular basis,” Detective Sergeant Thompson said.
“Even the smallest piece of information can assist us to piece together the circumstances leading up to Lorraine’s death.”
Detectives are currently reviewing CCTV they have gathered from the area, but ask members of the public with dashcam vision or CCTV to please come forward.
