Collie residents and cycling fans alike gathered for the 91st annual Collie to Donnybrook and Return Cycling Classic.
Cyclists from across the South West and Australia turned out to participate is the state's oldest cycling event.
The 104km handicap cycle race kicked off outside the Crown Hotel, in wintry conditions, at 12.30pm.
The event included the Under 15 40km and Under 17 56km races, with some of WA's best junior riders pedaling from 10.30am and 11.30am respectively.
The day also featured the 15km participation ride, with schools across Collie fighting it out for Primary Schools' Challenge Shield.
Main event competitors are expected to cross the finish line on Throssell Street between 3pm and 3.30pm.
