The Collie Junior Cricket Club is searching for more players ahead of the 2016/17 season.
Collie Junior Cricket Club president Paul Reuben said the club is down almost 60 per cent in numbers for the Year 9, 10, and 11/12 teams.
The side has five players between Years 9 and 10 as well as six Year 11 and 12 players.
He said the club has confirmed a full Year 8 side for the upcoming season.
The club will have a meeting on Wednesday, October 5 before the deadline on Thursday, October 6.
Mr Reuben said cricket provided an opportunity to have fun, participate in an activity with friends, play in combined teams and play at higher levels.
“Above all it’s about getting out there, having some summertime fun with your mates and enjoying sport which the benefits of are huge anyway,” he said.
