IT'S said a quick game is a good game. When Collie's B-grade side took the long trip to Capel for round 4 of the BDCA, the intending weather was looking to make it a short day.
Collie captain Seth White won the toss and sent Capel into bat, where it didn't take long before Steve Ireland claimed the first two wickets of the day.
Jason Borrett and Brayden Kent followed Ireland up a few overs later, creating a panic within last years BDCA B-grade premiers.
Mark Williams joined the show taking three wickets in his first over, and narrowly missing out on a hat-trick to finish off the over.
A short rain delay saw the player leave the field, but as fleeting as the shower of rain was, Capel's innings didn't last much longer.
Williams claiming the last three wickets in as many overs, finishing with 6 for 19, part way into his seventh over. Capel dismissed for 53 in the 27 over.
White sent veteran Tom Plummer to open the innings with youngster Bailey Maloney. The pair starting cautiously with the damp slow pitch, but both fell within an over of each other.
With two wickets down, Capel seemed to feel a chance back in the game.
With the brothers Austin and Brayden Kent at the crease, Capel quickly found no chance of being back in the game. Austin playing to his strengths, while older brother Brayden playing a little more assertively.
With the target well within sight, the brothers Kent took on the Capel bowlers and field.
Making sharp decisions to create runs, at one point the pair made a four-all run. Collie passing the target in the 18th over with only two wickets down; Brayden Kent 31 not out, and Austin Kent 11 not out.
Pine Hauliers B-grade Man of the Match was Mark Williams with 120 points.
