COLLIE'S D-grade hosted Colts Cricket Club at Wall End Reserve, and after having to forfeit a game, the boys were hoping for a good game.
Collie captain Nigel Irvine won the coin toss and sent Colts in to bat, opening bowlers Dale Elvin and Adam Johnson both claiming an early wicket each.
From there Collie looked in trouble, with the Colts third wicket creating runs quickly. Aaron Worlley broke the 116 run partnership, and Jared Wilcosz removed the other danger batsman.
Worlley struck again, as did Richard Lee-Tarran.
Colts attempted to take the innings away from Collie, before Wayne Underdown found the woodwork twice. Colts finished with 8 for 186 from their 40 overs.
Underdown taking 2 for 25 and Worlley 2 for 39.
Collie opened the innings with Anthony Hutt and Connor Mumme. Hutt departed early, as too did Wilcosz. Mumme and Worlley compiled a 53-run partnership before Mumme was dismissed for 18.
Worlley started to run out of partners, with Lee-Tarran and Irvine leaving the crease quickly. Underdown steadied with Worlley, the pair making a further 30 runs before Worlley pasted his half century.
Worlley bowled shortly after for a well made 66. Underdown was joined by Josh Fraser the pair creating another partnership of 30 before Fraser was run out for 16.
Johnson kept the score moving towards the target with Underdown, before Johnson was bowled.
With the Collie side needing 21 runs for victory and just two wickets in hand, Underdown put the foot down and brought about the winning runs and his half century in one stroke. Collie winning in the 38th over.
Bluewaters Power D-grade Man of the Match was Aaron Worlley with 106 points.
