Keen gardener Frank DeAngelis recently visited the Collie Mail office to show off some of his freshly picked produce, including a rather sizable cucumber.
Weighing in at 750 grams and measuring 65 centimeters long, the cucumber is just one of many oversized vegetables growing in Mr DeAngelis’ garden.
Mr DeAngelis said he has grown some very large vegetables over the years, including a cucumber that he picked 10 years ago that measured in at just under one metre.
Mr DeAngelis grows assorted fresh produce in his garden including onions, zucchinis, garlic, tomatoes, among other varieties.
