One of Collie’s heritage and tourism attractions is calling on volunteers throughout the shire.
The Collie Railway Station Group is looking for male and female helpers to assist with opening times at the Throssell Street facility.
The facility is also calling on a new treasurer and secretary.
Collie Railway Station Group president Jeanette MacLaren-Hall said they were welcoming school students 15 years old and over who were keen to increase their level of experience.
Mrs MacLaren-Hall said the group would be able to open seven days per week if more volunteers were to come on board.
“Collie has got too much history to let die, our aim is to keep the history of Collie going with the railways,” she said.
The group hopes to host more community groups and events at the headquarters.
