For the past century, Collie has been producing some first-class footballers.
Here are the top 30 to have had an impact in the WAFL or the AFL.
The list is based only on their performances in the WAFL or the AFL, not on their careers in the SWFL or any other competition.
To be eligible, a player had to be born in Collie or recruited to the WAFL/AFL from Collie.
Honourable Mentions
With apologies, especially, to local legend Mayne Coverley, whose nine games with East Perth in 1952 don't earn him a place on this list but also don't tell the full story of a player who won three consecutive Hayward Medals with Mines Rovers.
Also to Billy Hayward, who played one game with Swan Districts and also won a Hayward Medal with the Collie Saints, and to Bob Snell, who only played 25 games in the WAFL but won a Magarey Medal in the SANFL and played 13 state games for South Australia.
