After years of hard work and dreaming, Collie Hairdresser Shenae Magill has opened her own salon.
Iridescent Studio in Collie is the new business venture for Ms Magill, who has been hairdressing for the past seven years.
The salon has been in operation for three months and Ms Magill said her client base had already expanded significantly.
Ms Magill formerly worked at Shears Salon in Collie, where she completed her apprenticeship straight out of high school.
“I always loved doing hair and had a spark for it. School provided the opportunity to do a program, through an apprenticeship link, and I never looked back once I started,” she said.
Ms Magill is planning on visiting the Dominican Republic in January for a hairdressing conference where she will learn all the latest skills from the hairdressing world.
“I want to bring in the new techniques so I can give the best that I can to the clients,” she said.
