Community Home Care in Collie in conjunction with TADWA (Technology Assisting Disability WA) are holding a Cooking Club (Cook ‘n’ Eat Club).
The course will be held at the Living Well Social Centre located at 7 Vernon Street, Collie (behind the Ambulance Centre) on Fridays between 11.30am to 1.30pm.
This is a six week program for six people and is designed to provide re-ablement skills and strategies.
The club utilises assistive aids and technology that can enable and increase the independence of older adults living in the community.
This Community Home Care program would suit people who are interested in cooking or those who are affected by functional changes such as, impaired upper limb function, stroke, arthritis, Parkinson’s Disease or reduced balance and mobility.
