Collie Police cordon off area in CBD following robbery incident on Tuesday, June 13.
Collie Police are investigating an alleged robbery incident occurring in Collie's central business district on Tuesday afternoon.
A woman was arrested after she was seen leaving the incident by a Collie Police officer who was in the area at the time.
Police blocked off Steere Street – between the Steere Street and Johnston Street intersection and the Steere Street and Medic Street intersection – while investigating the scene.
Officers also cordoned off a bag placed in Soldiers Park close to Steere Street.
One witness said there was an argument in a nearby store before the accused ran out onto the road.
The investigation is still ongoing.
