A Collie resident, Neil Anthony Atkinson (45), has been fined $300 after unlicensed ammunition was found in his residence.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Barry Phelps told the court officers had found .22 calibre ammunition while executing a search warrant at 1.36pm on January 30, 2017.
At the scene, Atkinson said the ammunition was given to him as a souvenir from his father.
Atkinson attended Collie Magistrates Court on July 19, having changed his plea from not guilty to guilty.
A forfeiture order was also granted.

A resident has been given a $300 fine as well as court costs over one charge for possessing a prohibited drug.
According to police prosecutor Sergeant Barry Phelps, Iain Martin O’Breza, 36, was stopped by Collie Police while travelling in a northerly direction on Collie-Preston Road before Mcalinden Road.
At approximately 12.56pm on June 1, police found two small clipseal bags in his left sock containing methamphetamine.
A destruction order was also granted.
