The Bureau of Meteorology has recorded above average rainfall levels for July and August this year.
BOM duty forecaster Jessica Wilks said Collie Station has recorded 177.4 millimetres as of 9am on August 15, already passing Collie’s August average of 139.2 mm.
July recorded 228mm of rain, well above the 169.6mm monthly average.
Ms Wilks said Collie could expect a possible shower on Thursday, August 17, a partly cloudy day on Friday followed by showers for the weekend and Monday.
