Collie Eagles Football Club will be hosting a female football clinic day at the Collie Oval on Saturday, October 21. The clinics are designed to gauge local women’s interest in joining a potential Collie Eagles women’s team, and also to teach potential players new skills and answer any questions they may have.
Clinic organiser Philipa Seth said it would be a great oppurtunity for women to come down and see what it’s all about and learn some new skills. From there, the club will see if there are enough interested women to form a Collie Eagles women’s team to play in the south West football competition.
AFLW players will be running skills clinics and there will be giveaways on the day for participants.
The under 12’s clinic will be held from 9.30am to 11.30am, the 12’s to 15’s will be from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, and the 16+ clinic will be from 3pm to 5pm. All skill levels are welcome to join in.
