Police are investigating a road rage attack on a woman in Collie last week.
The woman took some time to turn on left on to Throssell St in wet weather on Thursday and police believe the driver behind her became agitated.
He allegedly deliberately bumped her vehicle out into the middle of the intersection so that he could get around her.
Collie Police Senior Sergeant Heath Soutar said the incident, at the corner of Mungalup Rd and Throssell St, had been captured on camera.
He said the driver was known to police and would be interviewed this week. Anyone with information is asked to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
Meanwhile, several incidents of vandalism have taken place in Collie.
Sen. Sgt. Soutar said three juveniles were arrested for throwing rocks at a house and a bus in Atkinson St.
They had been charged with causing criminal damage and would appear in the Childrens Court in the coming weeks. One had also been charged with disorderly behaviour in the police station.
Police were still looking for those who damaged a bus window in Throssell St.
They were also hunting for the robbers who broke into the Collie Waste Transfer Station twice last weekend to steal tools.
Sen. Sgt. Soutar said a driving offence in Collie had gained national attention on Monday.
Police pulled over a ute during a routine patrol and found a four-year-old child asleep under a canopy in the back.
The driver was charged with having an unrestrained child under the age of 16 as a passenger. He was issued a $550 infringement notice and a work order was also placed on the vehicle.
Several lesser offences were also committed in Collie over the past week.
Police charged a 25-year-old man with possessing cannabis and possessing drug paraphernalia after they visited his house because of noise complaints.
A 30-year-old Cardiff man was charged with causing criminal damage to a door in Shannon St, Cardiff on Friday, while two cars were broken into – one in Coverley Drive and the other at the Collie District Hospital.
Meanwhile, police have praised the efforts of an off-duty officer who caught a shoplifter in Woolworths.
A 54-year-old man was issued with a $500 fine over the incident on Sunday.
Finally, police have recovered a pile of stolen jewellery and have encouraged anyone who has recently had jewellery stolen to come into the police station and see whether their items are among the haul.
