THE Unity Bank Junior Tennis coaching got underway at the weekend with good numbers.
Coach Justin Maguire took the lessons with assistance from Paul Bernardi and Dennis True.
Players from the age of 3 ½ to 16 took part.
Congratulations to all those that won awards in the first week: Jonathon, Reeve, Austin and Charlotte.
New groups and time have been arranged for this week, so check out the facebook page for details.
All players in the 8.15am group are encouraged to stay and take part in organised play, if you must go please ensure that Whitney knows before games are arranged.
Members that are interested in a new playing shirt there is a list in the clubhouse place your name and size on the sheet by December 2 so that an order can be put in.
Cost per shirt is approximately $35.
Some seniors also hit the court at the weekend, and hope fully they will return this Saturday at 2pm for social tennis.
Players new and old are most welcome to join in the day’s play.
Coming up on Saturday, November 18 there will be a barbecue after the day’s play, and watch the fireworks.
